Roommate Contract
This Roommate Agreement (from now on referred to as "Agreement") is entered into on the [Day] of [Month], [Year] (starting now "Effective Date"), by and between [Your Name], whose principal place of residence is [Your Address], and [Roommate's Name], whose principal place of residence is [Roommate's Address].

Recitals
WHEREAS, Primary Tenant and Secondary Tenant (collectively referred to as "Roommates") have agreed to share a dwelling located at [Your Address];
WHEREAS, the Roommates wish to establish their respective rights and obligations regarding the shared dwelling;
Terms and Conditions
1. Term: This Agreement is for a term starting on [Start Date] and ending on [End Date].
2. Rent: The Secondary tenant agrees to pay the Primary tenant the sum of [Rent Amount] on the [Payment Date] of each month for the duration of this Agreement.
3. Security Deposit: Upon execution of this Agreement, the Secondary tenant will provide a security deposit to the Primary tenant in the amount of [Security Amount Deposit].
4. Utilities and Household Expenses: The Secondary tenant agrees to contribute an equal share to utilities and other household expenses.
5. Guests: Each Party agrees that guests shall not disturb the peaceful enjoyment of the other Party and guests shall not stay for a period longer than seven (7) consecutive nights without the other Party's prior written consent.
6. Termination: Either Party may terminate this Agreement by providing at least thirty (30) days' written notice to the other Party.
7. Disputes: Any disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved through mediation. If it remains unresolved, it shall then be resolved by binding arbitration.
We, the undersigned Roommates, acknowledge that we have read and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Roommate Contract. We understand our responsibilities and obligations towards each other and commit to upholding the terms of this agreement for the duration of our cohabitation.
