Management Trainee
JOB SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Undergo thorough training in various aspects of restaurant management including food preparation, service, sanitation, security, company policies, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
Work closely with restaurant staff to learn the practical skills of the job, including cooking, serving, cleaning, and operating the cash register.
Study the restaurant’s specialties, suppliers, clientele, and marketing strategies to understand the business as a whole.
Attend regular trainings and meetings to obtain management theory.
Assist in the planning and execution of business tactics to drive restaurant sales and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or Restaurant Management preferred.
Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus, but not required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
