Art Contract
This Art Contract (the "Contract") is entered into on May 22, 2050, ("Effective Date") by and between [Artist Name], located at 3096 Harry Place Goose Creek, NC 27974 ("Artist"), and [Gallery Name], located at 2917 Pick Street Joes, CO 80822 ("Gallery").
Engagement
Representation: The artist hereby appoints the Gallery as their exclusive/non-exclusive agent/gallery to represent and promote the Artist's artwork ("Artwork").
Scope of Representation: Agent/Gallery shall have the authority to exhibit, market, promote, and sell Artwork on behalf of the Artist, subject to the terms and conditions herein.
Term
This Contract shall commence on the Effective Date and continue for a period of [term duration] unless terminated earlier under the provisions herein.
Work Allocation
Artwork Submission: The artist shall deliver the Artwork to the Gallery promptly and by mutually agreed-upon specifications.
Exhibition Arrangements: The Gallery shall be responsible for arranging exhibitions and showcasing Artwork in suitable venues, subject to Artist's approval.
Compensation
Commission Rates: The gallery shall be entitled to a commission on the sale of Artwork as follows: [commission rate], based on the final sale price.
Expenses: The artist shall be responsible for any expenses incurred in the creation and delivery of Artwork unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Rights and Obligations
Ownership of Artwork: The artist retains full ownership and copyright of Artwork at all times.
Promotional Efforts: The gallery shall use reasonable efforts to promote and market Artwork through various channels, including but not limited to exhibitions, online platforms, and social media.
Termination
Termination for Cause: Either party may terminate this Contract immediately upon written notice for a material breach by the other party unless such breach is cured within [number] days of receiving written notice.
Termination for Convenience: Either party may terminate this Contract for convenience upon [number] days' written notice to the other party.
Confidentiality
Confidential Information: Both parties agree to keep confidential all information disclosed during the term of this Contract, including but not limited to pricing, sales data, and marketing strategies.

Governing Law
