Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring all departments function cohesively and efficiently. Implement policies and procedures that enhance operational effectiveness and meet regulatory standards.

  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage the budget with a keen eye on financial health, operational efficiency, and quality of care. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement without compromising service quality.

  • Quality of Care: Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently met and exceeded. Implement quality assurance programs that monitor care outcomes, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Cultivate a skilled, diverse, and engaged workforce. Promote a culture of excellence, empathy, and respect, ensuring staff have the training, resources, and motivation to deliver superior care.

  • Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the nursing home and external stakeholders, including families, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and the community at large. Build and maintain relationships that enhance the reputation and visibility of the organization.

  • Innovation and Improvement: Lead efforts to adopt innovative care practices, technologies, and services that enhance the resident experience and operational efficiency. Foster an environment that encourages creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with a strong preference for experience in long-term care.

  • Proven track record of leading organizations.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and financial management.
