Key Responsibilities
A. Customer Interaction
Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the cafe.
Assist customers in selecting menu items and provide information about specials and promotions.
Take accurate orders and convey them to the kitchen or barista station promptly.
Customize orders based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
B. Order Preparation and Service
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with consistency and quality.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries, following recipes and cafe standards.
Ensure orders are served promptly and accurately, maintaining high standards of presentation.
C. Transaction Handling
Process customer payments accurately using POS systems or cash registers.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions efficiently and securely.
Provide receipts and correct change to customers as needed.
D. Cleanliness and Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe's dining area, counter, and service areas throughout your shift.
Follow health and safety protocols for food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly to ensure a hygienic environment.
E. Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
Assist with restocking supplies, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.
Support colleagues during busy periods and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
F. Customer Satisfaction
