Job Title: Business Development Director

At FreshHarvest Organics, we are currently on the hunt for an exceptional Business Development Director to join our team. As our Business Development Director, you'll be tasked with crafting and executing a robust business development strategy, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, and enhancing profitability within the sphere of organic food products. You'll be given the responsibility to construct and strengthen relationships with clients while constantly striving to expand our reach. Collaboration is key, as you will work hand in hand with our sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy in line with the company’s objectives.

• Identify and exploit new market opportunities and trends to expand the company’s reach and increase profitability.

• Establish and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

• Act as the company’s representative at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and maximize business opportunities.

• Oversee the development of marketing materials and campaigns to bolster business development efforts.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is required, though an MBA would be an advantage. You should possess strong leadership and organizational skills, along with the ability to think strategically and analyze market trends and data. Previous experience in business development and relationship management within the organic food industry is a must. Outstanding communication, presentation and networking skills are vital, along with proficiency in using sales and project management software.

Additional Requirements

Travel may be required due to the networking aspect of the role. A flexible schedule and the ability to multitask under pressure would be advantageous.
