Section 1: Definitions

Section 2: General Parking Regulations

2.1. Parking Hours: Street parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless otherwise specified.

2.2. Parking Permits: Any vehicle parked within designated permit zones must display a valid permit issued by the City of Victoria. Failure to display a permit may result in fines or towing.

2.3. Time Limits: Vehicles parked in areas with posted time limits must adhere to the specified duration. Failure to comply may result in fines or towing.

2.4. Parking Prohibitions: Parking is prohibited in the following areas:

a. Within designated fire lanes.

b. Within designated disabled parking spaces without a valid disability permit.

c. Blocking driveways, entrances, or pedestrian pathways.

d. Within designated no-parking zones or areas marked by signage indicating no parking.

Section 3: Enforcement and Penalties

3.1. Parking Enforcement: The Parking Authority is responsible for enforcing parking regulations within the City of Victoria. Enforcement may include issuing citations, warnings, or towing vehicles in violation of parking bylaws.

3.2. Penalties: Violations of parking regulations may result in fines, impoundment of vehicles, or other enforcement actions as deemed appropriate by the Parking Authority.
