Daily Operations

• Check inventory levels of coffee, milk, sugar, syrups, and other supplies.

• Restock napkins, cups, lids, and straws.

• Verify daily specials and update menu boards.

• Ensure all registers and payment systems are operational.

• Confirm employee schedules and task assignments for the day.

Equipment Check

• Test all coffee machines, ensuring they’re brewing correctly.

• Check grinders for consistency and adjust settings if needed.

• Verify blenders, refrigerators, and other equipment are working properly.

• Clean air vents and check HVAC systems for proper airflow.

• Inspect all utensils (spoons, cups, etc.) for cleanliness.

• Ensure the water filtration system is functioning properly.

Customer Service

• Greet customers as they enter and offer assistance.

• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.

• Serve drinks and food promptly with proper presentation.

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

• Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction during their visit.

• Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and courteously.

Health & Safety

• Follow proper food handling procedures (e.g., storing perishable items at correct temperatures).

• Ensure all allergens are clearly labeled and communicated to customers.

• Clean up spills immediately to prevent accidents.

• Use gloves when handling food or beverages.

• Verify that fire extinguishers are in place and functional.

• Conduct a safety check for any hazards, such as blocked exits or damaged equipment.

Closing Procedures

• Clean and sanitize all coffee machines and equipment.

• Wipe down all surfaces and counters, including staff areas.

• Sweep and mop floors, ensuring no areas are missed.

• Count and secure cash, depositing money safely.

• Turn off all equipment (coffee machines, lights, appliances).

• Lock doors, activate security systems, and check all windows.
