Monthly Captures
A baby album may be designed to show the monthly photos of the baby until he or she has already reached a year old. Here are a few guidelines and ideas that you may follow and do in creating a baby album showing the monthly progress of your baby:
- Be sure to have a leaf cover per month or have a designated marker so that people looking at the album will be aware of the month of the baby when particular photographs were taken.
- Create a timeline of the activities that were being done by the baby for the first time and show these activities through photograph compilations.
- Make sure that the activities are labeled including the date that it was done so that the photographs will be backed up by additional information.
- You may photograph the baby in a similar location or environment so that the changes on the environment may be seen in the photographs too and so that the physical development of the baby will be more evident.

Organizing The Content of a Baby Album
A baby album may also be designed in a way that photographs with the same characteristics will be put together. A few groupings that you can follow in organizing the content of the baby album that you are creating are as follows:
- Face captures of the baby may be put together so that there will be a cohesion with the shots of the baby’s look. It is very important for a baby album to see the development of the baby so you may include labels of the dates when the photographs of the baby’s face were taken.
- It will also be cool to put together the different expressions made by the baby. You can photograph the baby when he or she is expressing various emotions so you can remember the face and body gestures that he or she makes on a particular situation.
- You can also compile the similar activities of the baby like grouping the photos when the baby is sleeping, captures of the baby when he or she is eating, the look of the baby during bath time and/or the different kinds of playtime activities that the baby is involved in.
