Free Speaker Engagement Contract

III. Speaker's Responsibilities

The Speaker agrees to the following responsibilities:

• Provide any necessary materials or resources required for the presentation.

• Attend any pre-event meetings or rehearsals as mutually agreed upon.

• Conduct themselves in a professional manner throughout the duration of the event.

IV. Event Organizer's Responsibilities

The Organizer agrees to the following responsibilities:

• Provide the necessary facilities and equipment for the Speaker's presentation.

• Promote the Speaker's participation in the event through marketing channels agreed upon by both Parties.

• Ensure that all logistical arrangements, including travel and accommodation if applicable, are made in advance and communicated to the Speaker.

• Provide any additional support or assistance required by the Speaker to fulfill their obligations under this Contract.

V. Compensation

In consideration for their services, the Organizer agrees to pay the Speaker the following compensation:

• Fee: $5,000

• Payment Terms: 50% upfront upon signing the contract, remaining 50% upon completion of services.

VI. Cancellation Policy

Either Party may cancel this Contract in writing with [insert number of days] days' notice prior to the event date. In the event of cancellation, the following provisions shall apply:

• If the Organizer cancels the event, the Speaker shall be entitled to full compensation as outlined in Section V.

VII. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and proprietary information, associated with the Speaker's presentation materials shall remain the property of the Speaker. The Organizer agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or use the Speaker's materials for any purpose other than the event without prior written consent from the Speaker.

VIII. Entire Agreement

This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. Any modifications or amendments to this Contract must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
