House sitting contract

This House sitting contract (“Contract”) is entered into as of the [DATE], by and between [YOUR NAME] residing at [YOUR COMPANY NAME] (hereinafter, “Homeowner”), and [House Sitter Name] residing at [House Sitter Address] (hereinafter “House Sitter”).

1. ENGAGEMENT

Homeowner hereby engages the House Sitter and the House Sitter accepts such engagement to provide house sitting services on the terms and subject to the conditions outlined in this Contract.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

The House Sitter agrees to live in the Homeowner's residence located at [YOUR COMPANY NAME] and perform general household tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining the cleanliness of the home, taking care of any pets, watering the plants, receiving the mail, and overseeing any household emergencies that may arise.

3. COMPENSATION

The Homeowner will compensate the House Sitter a total of [Amount] to be paid via direct deposit to the House Sitter’s bank account on or before [Payment Date].

4. TERM

This Contract will commence on [Start Date] and will continue until [End Date] unless otherwise terminated by either Party following the terms of this Agreement.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

The House Sitter agrees not to disclose any privileged information they become privy to during the term of this Contract. This includes but is not limited to, the Homeowner's private activities, details about the Homeowner's personal life, and the Homeowner's address.

6. TERMINATION

This Contract may be terminated by either party involved, provided they give a written notice to the opposite party. This written notice should be given a minimum period of 7 days before the intended termination date which is being proposed by the party seeking to terminate this Contract.

7. LIABILITY

During the period in which the house sitter is in charge, it is their responsibility to maintain the home and take appropriate care. Should there be any situations of negligence or should any damage be caused to the property during the term they are house sitting, the house sitter will be held accountable and responsible for such occurrences.

8. APPLICABLE LAW

This Contract will be governed by and construed following the laws of [Jurisdiction]

9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
