Startup Founder Agreement Form

I. The Parties
This Startup Founder Agreement Form ("Agreement") is made and entered into on Month Day, Year by and between Founder's Name, with a primary address at Founder's Address ("Founder"), and Co-Founder's Name, with a primary address at Co-Founder's Address ("Co-Founder"). The Founder and Co-Founder may collectively be referred to as the ("Parties") or individually as a ("Party").
II. Purpose of the Agreement
The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the roles, responsibilities, and terms of the collaboration between the Parties in the formation, development, and operation of [Your Company Name] ("Startup").
III. Roles and Responsibilities
The Parties agree to share responsibilities in managing, operating, and growing the Startup. Both Parties are committed to jointly setting the strategic direction of the company, making critical business decisions, and overseeing daily operations. They will work together to secure funding, develop and market the product or service, and manage financial resources responsibly. Each Party is expected to maintain open communication, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to the Startup’s success with equal effort and dedication.
IV. Ownership and Equity
Founder: The Founder shall hold Percentage Ownership of the equity in the Startup, based on mutual agreement between the Parties.
Co-Founder: The Co-Founder shall receive Percentage Ownership of the equity in the Startup, as agreed upon by the Parties.
Any changes to these ownership percentages must be documented in a written amendment to this Agreement.
V. Confidentiality
Both Parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information, business strategies, or other sensitive information related to the Startup. This obligation remains in effect even after the termination of this Agreement.
VI. Signature
By signing below, the Parties agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
