I hope this letter finds you in good health. My name is Susan L. Hartman and I am writing to express my sincere interest in the Mayor’s Scholarship for Civic Aid. I firmly believe that my passion for community service, leadership skills, academic achievements and the initiatives. I am engaged in make me an excellent candidate for this scholarship.
I have been leading a few initiatives for our community such as youth empowerment programs, clean-ups, and development planning sessions.
These initiatives have allowed me to understand the needs of our community and further ignited my passion to be of service.
Receiving the Mayor’s Scholarship for Civic Aid would be a great honor and would greatly assist in my pursuit of my master’s degree. It will enable me to concentrate on my studies and continue my community service initiatives without the constant worry about finances.
