I am writing to apply for the Horizon Educational Grants formally. I am a senior at Springfield High School with a 4.0 GPA and plan to attend State University, majoring in Medical Biotechnology in the Fall.
During high school, I was involved in many academic and extracurricular activities, which shaped me into a mature, persevering, and dedicated individual. I have consistently performed above average in all subjects, specifically Mathematics and Sciences. Beyond academics, I participated in community work by volunteering at a local hospital and leading a student-based environment cleanup team.
Earning this scholarship would greatly assist me in achieving my academic aspirations without burdening my family with many of the costs associated with higher education. It would allow me to focus more on my studies and future career, rather than worrying about how I will afford tuition.
