We are reaching out to you to provide important information regarding the significant measures that are currently being put into place at our school. These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of all students who have food allergies.

As you know, food allergies can be life-threatening, and it is our priority to create an environment where all children feel safe and included. We have identified that some students in various classes have severe allergies to specific foods, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten. Due to this, we kindly request your cooperation in the following ways:

• Please avoid sending products that contain or may contain nuts, nut oils, or other known allergens for snacks or lunches.

• Educate your child on why sharing food at school, due to allergies, germs, or school rules, is unwise. Explain each point to ensure they understand the consequences.

• Notify us immediately if your child has a new or existing food allergy that requires accommodation.

We are fully dedicated to providing assistance and support to students who are impacted by::

• Providing staff with annual training on managing and responding to allergic reactions.

• Making sure that emergency medication, such as epinephrine, is readily available and easy to obtain in situations where it might be urgently needed.

• Creating areas free of allergens as necessary, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate safely and comfortably.
