ADVERTISING OPERATIONS MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Role and Summary 

Advertising Operations Managers are experts in trafficking advertising campaigns to ensure that they are efficiently delivered and optimized. They are very adept at developing strategic and budgeting plans to secure the success of each ad campaign. They are very proficient in advertising operations, systems, and tools. They are also very innovative and are updated with the new technology trends, making them effective in their role.

A. Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Supervises and monitors advertisement operations to ensure that all standards and goals are met and achieved
  • Fixes and regulates vital matters concerning ad campaigns and problems 
  • Directs and notifies relevant staff of all crucial progress concerning various aspects of the advertising operations department 
  • Formulates and produces strategic plans for the improvement and operational efficacy of advertising tools and methods 
  • Strategizes and executes changes to advertisement campaign and programs and directs advertising initiatives 
  • Conducts an assessment in advertising operations and sales and creates an analysis of results to increase efficiency and development in the workflow daily or monthly 
  • Build and establish trust with clients, vendors, and media agencies to secure sales revenue and resolve any pending issues quickly to help improve customer service satisfaction 
  • Work together with other departments in ensuring that all campaign projects and programs are wholly and appropriately done and delivered effectively 
  • Discuss plans and strategies with seniors and department heads to create a budgeting plan for programs and ads

  • Well versed about ComScore, rich media vendors, advertising systems, and DoubleClick Ad system
  • Proficient in writing reports, MS Office applications, web analytics, and coding languages such as HTML/CSS and Javascript

  • Highly knowledgeable about the advertising field's technological aspect 
  • Sharp analytical skills and knows how to use analytics data for planning and budgeting

C. Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business, or any related field is highly required
  • Must have at least a minimum of five years of working experience in the advertising industry

  • Must be physically fit and able to work 
  • Must have no derogatory records and no pending cases in court
