One of your faculty members contacted me and asked whether I'm interested in becoming a Fourth-Grade Teacher in your school. Since I'm currently unemployed, and I have prior experience as a Fourth-Grade Teacher, I didn't hesitate to answer with a yes. After that, she told me to send you my resume and this letter to let you know of my interest in the position. 

For the last [8 years], I was one of [St. Mary School’s] Fourth-Grade Teachers. I've had countless students under my supervision that were very close to me, some of which are now studying in prestigious colleges and working professionally. During my teaching days there, I always strive to instill discipline and proper behavior in my fourth-grade students. And because of that, we were able to work together in developing the skills and knowledge of the students.
