This letter is written for the purpose of respectfully requesting the Administration to provide assistance in the form of Economic Injury Disaster Loan under the provisions of “The Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act,” [2020]. 

Small businesses in our State, including ours, are currently facing great economic hardships due to the recent and fast-increasing COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. Although the effects of the pandemic are varied depending on the industries, the majority of the business operations have been limited affecting the distribution system. Also, the reduced workforce has led to mass unemployment creating an environment of unrest and uncertainty.

Countless businesses have been affected by the pandemic and it is only natural to expect that these problems will persist for weeks to come. As the board has decided to take active measures to provide support to these businesses, we humbly request to consider our economic condition to be declared eligible for the assistance.
