Personal Friendship Letter to Childhood Friend

Personal Friendship Letter To Childhood Friend

Hey Suzy,

How've you been? It's been ages, right? Do you ever find yourself diving deep into the nostalgia rabbit hole? Recently, I’ve been having these flashbacks of our childhood escapades, especially during our family gatherings. Remember our attempts to make homemade kimchi, only to be scolded by our grandmothers for making such a mess? Or dancing to old K-pop tunes with hairbrushes as mics?

I can't help but laugh thinking about our adventures in Little Korea, trying every bingsu flavor and always fighting over the last rice cake. It was such a simple time, filled with laughter, shared family stories, and our joint mission to find the best bulgogi in town!

Seeing your recent posts and updates, I'm genuinely proud of the woman you've become, Suzy. Your fierce determination and that ever-present sparkle in your eye remind me so much of our younger selves. You've always had this magic about you, turning the ordinary into something special. It's always inspired me and pushed me to strive for more.

I owe so many of my cherished memories to our unforgettable times together. And while reminiscing is sweet, I think it's high time we create new memories. How about we meet up, relive some of those cherished moments, and maybe even introduce our families to our shared heritage in a fun new way?

Oh, and before I forget, I found some old photos of us (attached) from the Lunar New Year parties and summer picnics. I bet you'll laugh at our hanbok fashion show poses and our attempts at traditional fan dances. I thought you'd love a nostalgic trip as much as I did.

I'm really hoping we can reconnect soon. Keep shining and doing what you do best. And if you ever find yourself in Mount Kisco or if I end up near your place, let's promise to meet up, okay?

Till then, sending you all my love.

Warm wishes,

Winter Young
