Dear Mr. Summers,
I am writing to request an Adoption leave, effective from April 1, 2050, to May 1, 2050. I have recently been blessed with the opportunity to adopt a child and it requires my full attention and presence during this initial transition period.
I have made arrangements to ensure that my responsibilities are taken care of in my absence. I have discussed the matter with my team members and they have agreed to step in and handle any urgent tasks that may arise. I will also provide them with detailed handover notes to ensure a smooth workflow during my absence.
I am committed to returning to work on May 1, 2050, and resuming my responsibilities. I understand the importance of maintaining productivity and will ensure a seamless transition back into my role.
