I am writing this letter to you after thoroughly considering the job offer for the Kitchen Manager position at your esteemed establishment. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the team and bring innovative approaches to the operations, however, I am writing to respectfully discuss the compensation package.
The main point I am asking you to reconsider pertains to the joining bonus. Considering the experience and unique skill set I bring on board, I feel a signing bonus would be a fair addition to the package. I believe, considering the value of the work I will provide, a bonus is a justifiable request and would motivate me even to outperform expectations.
I hope that discussing the possibility of including a bonus does not complicate our negotiations. I am keen to join your team and bring my passion for the food industry to your establishment. However, I believe this addition to my compensation is necessary and beneficial for both parties. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to your response.
