Dear Ms. Langosh,
I write to notify you of my daughter's upcoming absence from school due to our scheduled family vacation. Our vacation is planned from November 1st to 15th and during this period my daughter won't be able to attend school. Jessica will see you upon our return.
We understand school lessons are crucial but this yearly family vacation is our family tradition and it provides a valuable family bonding time that can't be replaced. Your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter are much appreciated.
We will make sure Jessica catches up on all the missed schoolwork upon our return. Feel free to carry on any school work we can make provisions to facilitate her learning during our vacation.
