The Restaurant Manager is accountable for overseeing the efficient functioning and productivity of the restaurant. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and oversee all restaurant operations including managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met, and implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency.

  • Create strategies to ensure growth of the restaurant. This includes fine-tuning existing strategies or introducing new ones to maintain high levels of quality, service, and cleanliness.

  • Smoothen the supply chain management and make continuous improvements by tracking new efficient procedures to enhance the food and beverage quality and service delivery.

  • Manage budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.

  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.

  • Constantly review product quality and research new vendors if the need arises.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should hold a degree/diploma in Hotel Management and have relevant work experience in managing restaurant operations.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

  • Previous restaurant service experience is preferred but not strictly required.
