Position Overview

This individual will be responsible for ensuring our clients' safety, well-being, and comfort while fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship to clients and engage them in meaningful conversation and activities.

  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

  • Carry out household tasks including laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.

  • Monitor the client’s health condition, report changes, and maintain a detailed record of services provided.

  • Administer medication as prescribed by the healthcare provider and ensure clients are taking all prescribed medications and treatments.

  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

  • Arrange transportation for clients to appointments or outings.

  • Ensure the safety of the clients by implementing safety measures in the home setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in caregiving with references.

  • First aid and CPR certification.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
