I. Title:

Prioritize and Groom Backlog for Upcoming Sprints

II. User:

As a Product Manager, I want to refine and prioritize the product backlog, so that our development team can focus on high-impact features and improvements for the next sprint, ensuring we meet our release goals effectively and efficiently.

III. Acceptance Criteria:

1. Backlog Items Review:

   • All backlog items are reviewed to ensure they are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with the latest product goals and user needs.

2. Prioritization:

   • Backlog items are prioritized based on business value, user impact, and dependencies.

   • High-priority items are marked and moved to the top of the backlog.

3. Estimation:

   • Each backlog item has a clear and accurate effort estimation, expressed in story points or hours, provided by the development team.

4. Dependencies:

   • Any dependencies between backlog items are identified and documented to avoid potential bottlenecks.

5. Acceptance Criteria:

   • Each backlog item has well-defined acceptance criteria that specify what needs to be accomplished for the item to be considered complete.

6. Documentation:

   • All necessary documentation and user stories are complete and include relevant details, such as user needs, goals, and benefits.

7. Stakeholder Feedback:
