Ever since I got my degree in Hotel Management at South Dakota University, I was always a Hotel Front Desk Clerk throughout my professional career. I started working at Country Inn & Suites, wherein I promptly answered calls for reservations, welcomed the arrival of guests, resolved complaints and concerns, and complied with other administrative tasks obligated by the General Manager. Two years later, I resigned and went to Baymont Inn & Suites. I did more or less the same set of duties in Baymont Inn & Suites. But working at that establishment improved my flexibility and urged me to get out of my comfort zone since the environment there was quite different. After spending two years in Baymont Inn & Suites, I gracefully resigned and was offered by Country Inn & Suites to work for them again, which I honorably accepted. My second stint in Country Inn & Suites was more challenging. I regularly collaborated with the security personnel via the radio system in monitoring the safety of the guests and rooms. To sum it all up, my years as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk exercised my professionalism and composure as a proud hotelier.
