How to Make an IT/Software Presentation in Google Slides?
With the advances in information technology, making project presentations have become very easy. However, not all presentations are equal. Making an attractive presentation is always a challenge. Take the following points into considerations while making one for your IT and software business:
1. Choose a Slide and Identify Your Topic
The presentation you are going to make will require a topic. You should identify one because it will be the center of your presentation. The next steps might rely on the topic you are going to identify. Open Google Slides, pick a slide template, or proceed with a 'blank' slide. Pick a particular slide design and facet before starting to add content.
2. Research
You will need to have content to present ideas in your company project presentation. Conduct research about your chosen topic. Try to find all its positive, negative impacts, weaknesses, etc. Create a list because you will need it later when organizing the contents in sequential order.
3. Making the Presentation
Use the information you gained from your research, organize them well. Choose the most relevant information about your topic. Feel free to use your imagination and be creative with your presentation. However, you must keep in mind that you are presenting a topic or product and thus whatever you add must have some relevance to the topic. Add media files, graphics, etc that contribute to simplifying the idea you are communicating.
5. Learn About the 10-20-30 Rule
An effective presentation should not have more than 10 slides, the presentation should not exceed 20 minutes and the font size should not be below 30. You can make a checklist of the ideas you need to communicate through each slide so that you can remember them without a problem.
