How to Make a Sales Meeting Minutes in Apple Pages
It’s important that your sales team has detailed notes about a meeting that they can refer to when needed. So, you’ll want to properly compose some meeting minutes to hand out to them. According to The Balance Careers, meeting minutes are a form of document used to inform relevant parties about the topics and events in a meeting or presentation.
We understand how much of a hassle it can be to prepare these notes from scratch, which is why we’ve put together some comprehensive tips (below) to help speed things up a bit using macOS and Apple Pages!
1. The Basic Details
Open up a file or template in Apple Pages. To begin with, you should input certain bits of information relevant to the meeting. On the upper portion of the document, you need to mention the meeting’s venue, the time, the date, its attendees, and the purpose/main topic. And, depending on what’s required, you might also need to mention anyone who was absent from the meeting.
2. Summarize the Topics
Below the basic information of the document, you should talk about each topic/issue that was discussed during the meeting. Refer to your notes and give a summary regarding each of those topics (like sales activity, performance reviews, product trends, etc.).
3. Significant Events and Actions
In addition to the topics, you should also provide details about major actions or occurrences that took place during the meeting. Such actions could be votes on decisions, temporary deviations from topics, and so on.
4. Review, Then Distribute
Before finalizing your meeting minutes, never skip reviewing your work; make corrections and/or alterations as necessary. You might also be required to get approval (and signatures) for your document before distribution.
Once all of that has been taken care of, you can now email digital copies or hand out prints of your summary. Provide employees with efficient notes about discussions and agendas with our ready-made Sales Meeting Minutes Templates!
