Dear Ms. Chloe Tate,
I write to you today with a heavy heart and a sense of accomplishment, satisfaction, and anticipation. After a fulfilling career spread over three decades, I have decided to retire from my role as a Professor in the Education Department at Elysian University, effective April 31, 2050.
Elysian University has been my second home. The campus, faculties, administrators, and, most importantly, the students I had the privilege of instructing and mentoring have all contributed immensely to my personal growth and played a pivotal role in shaping my life and career.
I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support and opportunities for professional development that the University and its leadership have provided me over the years. I sincerely hope I have contributed significantly to the University's vision of nurturing creative and critical thinkers who make a positive difference in our world.
Thank you for being so understanding and for the privilege of being a part of Elysian University. I look forward to our paths crossing again in the future.
