Dear Mr. Johnson,

I am writing to request a cash out of my accrued vacation days. Due to personal reasons and commitments, I have been unable to take time off and consume my allocated vacation days. I have checked with our HR department, and I currently have 20 days of unused vacation time. Cashing out these days would greatly assist me in addressing some financial obligations I am currently dealing with.
