Parent-Child Informal Letter
Dear Mom and Dad,
I hope you both are doing well. I just wanted to take a moment to update you on everything that's been happening here.
Life at college has been busy but exciting! I’ve been keeping up with my studies and have made some great new friends. We’ve been working on a group project for one of my classes, and it’s been fun collaborating with everyone. I also joined a new club – the photography club! You know how much I love taking pictures, and it feels great to be able to do it more often.
The weather here has been a bit unpredictable – some days it’s sunny and warm, and others are a bit chilly, so I’ve had to layer up! Still, I’m enjoying the change from home.
I miss you both a lot. It’s strange not having the usual family meals together or seeing your faces every day, but I think I’m adjusting well. I do miss the home-cooked meals, though – I’ll be coming home soon to enjoy some of your delicious cooking!
I’m looking forward to the upcoming weekend when we’ll have a little break from classes. I’ll call you both then to chat more.
