Free Goal Setting
This Miro board features two distinct sections designed for personal and professional development: "Peer Mentorship Workshop Prep" and a "Goal Setting Worksheet."
The "Peer Mentorship Workshop Prep" section (left panel) is a reflective exercise, prompting users to identify key aspects of their personal and professional lives. It includes prompts like "These are the main things that motivate me/spark joy/give me satisfaction," "My greatest strengths/abilities/traits/things I do best," and outlines different time horizons for goal-setting: "My current 3-month goals are," "My current 6-month goals are," and "My current 1-year goals are." This encourages self-awareness and initial goal conceptualization.
The "Goal Setting Worksheet" (right panel) is a structured table for detailing specific goals. It provides space for three individual goals, each with columns for: "What knowledge do I need to gain? What skills do I need to build? What attributes do I need to develop? (Specific)," "Proof? How will I know I did it? (Measurable)," "Development Activities: How will I gain/build/develop (Attainable)," "Potential Mentors, or mentor type, who can help me achieve this? (Relevant)," and "Target completion date (Time-bound)." This worksheet effectively integrates the SMART goal framework and emphasizes the importance of mentorship and a clear action plan. An additional section for "Refined Goals" at the bottom allows for iteration and consolidation of objectives. This holistic approach supports comprehensive goal planning, from self-reflection to detailed execution.
