Dear [Ms. Marie Olsen],

Good day!

As you know, I have been coming late these past few days, and I am alarmed that it is affecting both my performance and the productivity of the company. As much I want to report to the office on time, the current situation of the traffic from my home to [Emerge Digital Solutions] has become a challenge. 

In light of this, I am requesting your humble office to allow me to work from home. Such an arrangement will benefit both the company and me, considering the current situation. I believe that working from home will boost my productivity as I will be able to focus on my work, free from the needless interruption from my colleagues. There will be no need for me to beat the traffic every day; thus, punctuality will not be a problem anymore. My absence also saves the office some space and resources, giving it a win-win situation for both of us.
