1. Purpose of the Survey
Before you start drafting your simple survey, make sure you are able to identify the main purpose of your survey. 2. Make the Survey Short

3. Avoid the 'yes' or 'no' Questions
Questions that are only answerable by yes or no will most likely limit your expected outcome of data analysis. This type of question is called the Closed questions, meaning that it is only limited with few answers like the yes or no and the true or false type of options. 5. Randomize the Options
Most respondents will always select the first choice. To avoid this to happen, randomize the list of your options. Do not place the most common and popular options to the top of your choices. Doing this will make the respondents have no choice but to read all the options given. This strategy can lead to a better result in your sample survey.
