PET CUSTODY AGREEMENT

ARTICLE I: IDENTIFICATION OF THE PET

This agreement pertains to the custody and care of the following pet:

ARTICLE II: CUSTODIAL SCHEDULE

Both parties agree to adhere to the following custody schedule:

II.I Primary Custodian: Jane Doe shall have custody of the pet during the following days and times: Monday 9:00 AM to Friday 6:00 PM.

II.II Secondary Custodian: John Smith shall have custody of the pet during the following days and times: Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 9:00 AM.

ARTICLE III: FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Each party agrees to share financial responsibilities for the pet's care in the following manner:

III.I The primary Custodian shall be responsible for:

Routine veterinary care, including vaccinations and check-ups.
Purchasing and providing quality food and necessary supplies for the pet.
Covering grooming expenses such as bathing, grooming appointments, and grooming products.

III.II The secondary Custodian shall be responsible for:

Emergency veterinary care during their custody period, including any unexpected medical expenses.
Providing toys, treats, and other enrichment for the pet.
Covering any other necessary expenses during their custody period.

ARTICLE IV: VETERINARY CARE

Both parties agree to keep the pet's vaccinations and preventive treatments up-to-date according to the recommendations of a licensed veterinarian. In the event of illness or injury, both parties shall promptly inform each other and consult on the best course of action for the pet's well-being, ensuring that the pet receives timely and appropriate medical attention.

ARTICLE V: COMMUNICATION

Both parties agree to maintain open and respectful communication regarding the pet's welfare. Any significant changes in the pet's health or behavior shall be promptly communicated to the other party, including updates on veterinary visits, changes in diet or medication, and any other relevant information that may impact the pet's well-being.

ARTICLE VI. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

VI.I The Parties agree and acknowledge that Party A is the current owner of the pet(s) as described below. Party A shall have sole and exclusive custody and care of the Pet(s) and Party B shall have no rights or responsibilities relating to the Pet(s).

VI.II The Parties further agree and acknowledge that Party B shall have visitation rights with the pet(s) as mutually agreed upon by both Parties. The Parties agree to discuss and arrange such visitation in good faith.

VI.III Parties understand that this Agreement is binding them legally and they shall follow the mentioned instructions regarding the custody of the pet(s). Any violation of this agreement can lead to legal consequences.

VI.IV The Parties agree that all expenses and costs relating to the care, maintenance, and health of the pet(s) shall be borne exclusively by Party A.

VI.V Parties agree that significant changes such as relocation, serious illness, or death that affect the conditions of this contract should be reported immediately to the other party.

ARTICLE VII: DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of a disagreement regarding the pet's custody or care, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through mediation by a neutral third party. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, either party may seek legal recourse through the appropriate channels to address the matter and ensure the pet's best interests are upheld.
