This letter is in reference to your request for the encashment of your Employment Provident Fund (EPF).

We understand that due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, the financial resources of our employees are becoming constrained. That’s why most of our employees are requesting to use their EPF to stay afloat. As you already know during the job offer, we have emphasized that your provident fund is a form of saving scheme which you can utilize in the event of [retirement, sickness, unemployment,] and [disability.] 

Westgate Company is committed to helping our employees who are in dire need during this pandemic. We have, therefore, decided to allow our employees for the early release of their [EPF.] However, there are certain criteria for you to be eligible for this benefit. 

Upon checking I have found out that you’ve met these criteria and are qualified to attain this benefit. To lessen person-to-person interaction for reducing the spread of the virus, the company has decided to release your [EPF] in your payroll bank account. You will be receiving a separate email once we’ve deposited the money. 

Attached herewith is a document that contains the breakdown of your provident fund contributions so you will know the amount you would be receiving.
