Our reunification sites have been carefully selected and prepared to facilitate a smooth and efficient reunification process. These sites are easily accessible, secure, and equipped to handle the needs of students and parents/guardians. Our reunification sites include:
Main Reunification Site: Located at [Location], this site serves as the primary location for reunification efforts. It is equipped with registration and check-in areas, as well as designated waiting areas for parents/guardians.
Secondary Reunification Site: Located at [Location], this site serves as an overflow location in case the main site reaches capacity. It is similarly equipped with registration and check-in areas.

Each reunification site is equipped with necessary supplies, such as water, snacks, and first aid kits, to ensure the comfort and well-being of those involved in the reunification process.
IV. Communication and Notification
In the event of a reunification event, we will notify parents/guardians, staff, students, and the community using the following methods:
Parent/Guardian Notification: We will use our emergency communication system to notify parents/guardians of the reunification event. This may include phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media updates.
Staff Notification: We will notify staff members using our internal communication channels, such as email and text messages. Staff members will be instructed to report to their assigned roles in the reunification process.
Student Notification: Students will be informed of the reunification process by their teachers or other school personnel. They will be directed to follow the instructions of staff members during the event.
Community Notification: We will use local media outlets and our website to provide information to the community about the reunification event and any road closures or traffic disruptions that may occur.
V. Reunification Procedures
A. Check-In Process for Students
Upon arrival at the reunification site, students will be directed to the check-in area, where they will be asked to provide their name, grade, and teacher's name. This information will be used to verify their identity and locate their designated reunification area.
B. Verification of Parent/Guardian Identity
Parents/guardians will be required to provide identification, such as a driver's license or state ID, to verify their identity. Once verified, they will be given a wristband or other form of identification that matches their child's identification.
C. Reunification Site Logistics and Procedures
At the reunification site, parents/guardians will be directed to the designated reunification area based on their child's grade level or last name. They will be guided through the reunification process by staff members and provided with any necessary information or updates.
D. Reunification Release Forms and Documentation
Parents/guardians will be required to sign a reunification release form before their child is released to them. This form will include information about the reunification process and any follow-up instructions or support services that may be available. Once the form is signed, the child will be released to the parent/guardian's care.
VI. Training and Drills
We will conduct regular training and drills to ensure that our staff and students are prepared to respond effectively to a reunification event. Training will include:
Program: Reunification procedures and roles and responsibilities.
Frequency: At least twice per year.
Duration: 1-2 hours per training session.
Our reunification plan will be evaluated and improved through regular reviews and feedback from staff, students, and parents/guardians. After each drill or event, we will conduct a debriefing session to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This feedback will be used to update our reunification procedures and training programs as needed.
VII. Budget Allocation

Category | Amount |
|---|---|
Training and Drills | $5,000 |
Supplies and Equipment | $2,000 |
