Job Summary
Our well-established company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist. Our ideal applicant is someone with a keen eye for detail regarding stock inputs and outputs and who understands the value of maintaining an efficient and effective inventory tracking system. As an Inventory Specialist, your key duty will be to ensure that there is an accurate and efficient flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses or retail locations, and ultimately to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties

Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels.

Tracking all inbound and outbound items to prevent discrepancies.

Ensuring that there is a smooth flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses/retail locations.

Managing all documentation related to inventory handling.

Performing periodic audits to ensure accuracy in all inventory records.

Acting as a liaison for all stakeholders in the supply chain process.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or similar field.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Experience with warehouse management systems and databases.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Necessary Experience
Previous experience of at least 3 years as an Inventory Specialist or a similar role in the retail or supply chain industry is preferred. Familiarity with the use and implementation of modern inventory-management software is crucial.
Additional Requirements
Must be open to working extended hours if necessary. The ability to work in a team setting and take initiative in rectifying any irregularities in the inventory is of paramount importance.
