Job Title: Fixed Asset Accountant

The ideal candidate will exude exceptional ability to maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets.

  • Track and record the details of acquisitions and disposals of fixed assets.

  • Calculate and record depreciation expenses for fixed assets using appropriate methods.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to fixed assets.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Management Accountant certification is a plus, but not mandatory.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

  • Expertise in tracking and recording fixed assets

  • Proficiency in calculating and recording depreciation expenses

  • Strong analytical skills for financial reporting

Required Experience:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fixed Asset Accountant or in a similar role.

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
