Job Title: General Manager

A vibrant and thriving commerce setup is in search of a robust and dedicated General Manager to oversee the overarching operations of the business. The primary role will be to ensure the efficient functioning of all departments, supporting them to achieve their key objectives. In addition to orchestrating the ongoing activities, the General Manager will also play a crucial role in formulating business strategies, managing resources, and optimizing organizational processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Steer the overall operations of the business or designated business unit.

• Lead a team of managers to execute strategic plans and meet business objectives.

• Responsible for budget preparation, resource allocation, and financial planning.

• Act as a liaison between the company’s various departments and resolve any possible conflicts.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and address any issues that pose risks to the business.

Experience

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required. An MBA or a relevant post-graduate qualification is a massive advantage.
