Job Title: Game Designer
We’re searching for a passionate Game Designer to help create unforgettable gaming experiences. You’ll be responsible for developing the overall concept, story, and gameplay mechanics for our upcoming games, becoming a key part of our creative team. If you’re constantly conceiving of detailed virtual worlds, memorable characters, and unique gameplay mechanics, you may be the perfect fit.
Qualifications and Competencies
Proven experience in game design including ideation, development, and balancing
Demonstrated knowledge of gameplay mechanisms and system design
Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skills
Proficiency in scripting languages and game design software
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver quality outcomes within deadlines
High degree of creativity and problem-solving ability
Familiarity with the gaming market and a deep understanding of player needs and interests
Experience
Previous experience in a game design role with hands-on experience developing a published game, preferably for multiple platforms
Experience developing gameplay mechanics, designing characters, and creating engaging storylines
Additional Requirements
Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively
Must be passionate about video games
Must be open to feedback and willing to iterate designs as required
