Being an integral part of our team, the Insurance Customer Service representative will serve as a direct point of contact for customers, providing them with comprehensive support on insurance-related matters. They'll assist policyholders and potential customers with their inquiries, manage policies, process claims, and other insurance-related tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Insurance Customer Service representative will:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding insurance policies and claims.
Assist potential customers in understanding and choosing suitable insurance policies.
Process insurance claims and manage policy renewals and modifications.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and regulations.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with policyholders through open and interactive communication.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Customer Service experience in the Insurance industry is highly preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Excellent people skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
Necessary Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer support role within the insurance industry.
Additional Requirements
Although not required, being bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
