We're seeking a Director of Special Education who will lead and manage special education programs and services. Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
You should have:
A minimum of a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Previous experience (at least five years) in special, inclusive, or differentiated education
Well-versed in national and state-level special education regulatory standards
Strong leadership, management, and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with staff, parents, and students
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee and manage all aspects of special education services and programs within the institution
Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local mandates
Focus on enhancing the academic success of students with unique learning needs
Regularly review and improve special education curriculum and teaching methods
Liaise with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals regarding student’s needs and progress
