Job Title: Stock Clerk

Our company has an immediate opening for a resolute and detail-oriented Stock Clerk. This is a vital role in our organization, aimed at maintaining inventory accuracy, streamlining inventory systems, and ensuring that customer orders are timely fulfilled.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and rectifying stock discrepancies in a prompt manner.

  • Maintaining accurate records of received and outgoing shipments.

  • Organizing the warehouse to ensure ease of locating inventory items.

  • Rotating stock to minimize expiry and spoilage risks.

  • Ensuring the adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent, further education will be a plus.

  • Proven experience as a stock clerk or similar role.

  • Advanced inventory software skills.

  • A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent organization and planning skills.

  • Interest and ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • A valid driver's license may be required for some tasks.

  • Ability to lift heavy items.
