Job Title: School Social Worker
LifeSkills Learning Partners, a growing educational institution, is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to be a part of our dynamic team. Our mission is to help develop students into well-rounded individuals by addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Design and implement personalized intervention plans based on the findings of assessments.
Monitor and track student progress, modifying intervention strategies as necessary.
Provide timely and effective crisis intervention services to students in immediate emotional or social distress.
Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for students, especially during crises.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
A bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Education or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Relevant professional experience as a School Social Worker.
Proven capabilities in assessment and intervention design.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and students alike.
Ability to respond rapidly and effectively in crisis situations.
