Facilities Operations Manager Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

You are the go-to person for everything related to our building's functionality which includes the building's maintenance, vendor management, safety regulations, and budgeting. You shall report to the Operations Director and your anticipated start date will be no later than 2051.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the upkeep and maintenance of all facilities to uphold the company's standards.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all service providers and contractors.

  • Ensure that all company assets are maintained cost-effectively.

  • Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.) and external contractors.

  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in facilities management coupled with a diploma degree in Facility Management, engineering, business management, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and contractors professionally, along with experience of at least five years in a similar role is highly desirable.
