Position Overview
The Professional Cashier plays a critical role in the financial management of our retail operations. This position requires an individual with exceptional customer service skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently and accurately. The Professional Cashier will be responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
Transaction Management: Process customer transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, credit, and debit transactions. Ensure all sales are properly recorded and receipts are issued. Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
Inventory Support: Assist with stock management and inventory control. Notify management of stock shortages, discreetly handle stock takes, and support the sales team in placing new inventory on shelves.
Qualifications
Work Environment: The Professional Cashier will primarily work indoors in a retail store environment. This position may require standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting of items up to 20 pounds. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
