Assist in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures, offering support to physicians and other medical personnel.
Educate patients and families on managing health conditions, including lifestyle changes, medication usage, and preventive care.
Work together with teams comprising professionals from various disciplines to create, put into practice, and modify plans for patient care as needed.
Respond promptly to emergencies, providing critical care and support when needed, including basic life support (BLS).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and guide them as necessary.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse license in California (or relevant state).
Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
