At the top of the organizational structure of Comcast Corporation is the Board of Directors, which provides governance, strategic oversight and broad policy direction for the entire enterprise. Directly under the Board, the Chief Executive Officer leads the company, sets overall corporate strategy, makes high-level decisions and reports to the Board. The third level comprises the senior executive leadership team (such as presidents, executive vice presidents of major business segments and functional heads) who manage the major operating divisions and corporate functions and report to the CEO. At the fourth level are the heads of specific business units and regional operations, along with senior vice presidents who oversee everyday operations of platforms such as cable, broadband, media and entertainment, technology and international markets, and they in turn report to the senior executives above them.
