Here is a brief summary of the organizational structure of BNP Paribas up to the fourth level: At the top of the organization is the Board of Directors, which defines strategic directions, oversees governance and ensures alignment with regulatory and stakeholder obligations. Reporting to the Board is the General Management / Executive Leadership team which is responsible for implementing the Board’s decisions, managing the global operations of the Group and setting the operational agenda. On the third level the bank is organised into its major operating divisions and central functional units, such as the commercial & personal banking division, the corporate & institutional banking division, the investment & protection services division, and group?wide functions like technology, risk, finance and human resources. At the fourth level, each operating division and function is further broken down into business line heads, regional heads or functional managers who oversee specific markets, product portfolios, client segments or internal support functions and who report into the division or function leaders above them.
